My name is Frank J. Umbro. I’m a retired Airline Pilot who flew for TWA and via a merger, American Airlines. I had an outstanding career flying Jet Transport aircraft for 38 years. I was born and raised in Southern California and learned to fly at Santa Paula Airport, Santa Paula, CA.
My 44-year career in aviation started at age 21 after college. Mandatory retirement from the airline at age 65, had me changing jobs from flying Boeing and McDonnell Douglas jets to instructing on the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, as a Simulator Instructor for a Part 142 Simulator Training Center in Las Vegas, NV since 2016.

Sadly, my wife passed almost 24 months ago, and Thomas decided not to go forward with a second home.
